When the dates do not line up between two Las Vegas moves
It happens on more Valley moves than people expect: a lease ends before the new place is ready, a new-build in Mountain’s Edge or Aliante runs a week behind, or a job start pulls you out of town before the keys to the next house are in your hand. Suddenly there is a whole household and nowhere to put it — and in the desert, leaving it in a hot self-storage unit is asking for warped furniture. PT Van Lines built short-term storage to cover exactly that gap: we load the home, keep it safe and out of the heat, and bring it back when your timing works out.
From Summerlin to Henderson, Las Vegas movers prices the whole move as one written number you can hold us to.
Your shipment stays inside PT Van Lines the whole time
What actually matters in a storage gap is whose hands are on your furniture while you wait. Here, the answer is only ours. Our crew pads and wraps every piece, loads it, and parks it under our own roof, then our crew pulls it back out when you are ready — there is no handoff to a self-storage unit you have to fill yourself, no outside party in your shipment between dates, and no metal box cooking your things in the summer sun.
Whether the gap is days or months
Sometimes it is a long weekend between closings. Sometimes it is two months while a renovation finishes or a relocation to Phoenix or Reno gets sorted. The terms flex either way, and we keep a written inventory so every piece is accounted for when it comes back out. You are not signing a year-long self-storage lease for a few weeks of gap, and you are not the one loading and unloading the unit twice in the heat — that is our work.
- The load-in and the redelivery alike bill at $159 an hour for two movers or $219 for three, no minimum either way
- Furniture pad-wrapped and shrink-wrapped, then stored out of the Mojave heat
- The full figure — each move day plus the time in storage — is on the table before you sign on
- Shipment insured to $1,000,000, $0.60/lb released value as standard, full-value optional
Tell us roughly how long the gap might be and where the home starts and ends up. A $100 deposit holds your original load date and comes off the final bill.
What’s included
- Our PT Van Lines crew loads the whole household and parks it in clean, secured storage to bridge the stretch between your two move dates
- Load the home, store it, redeliver it — all one company, so your furniture never gets handed to a stranger's warehouse or a unit you load yourself
- Climate-aware storage that keeps your things out of the Mojave heat — the candles, electronics, vinyl and pressed-wood furniture that a hot summer unit would warp
- Both ends — the load-in and the redelivery — run on the crew clock with no one-hour minimum: $159 an hour for two movers, $219 for three
- Everything pad-wrapped and shrink-wrapped before it goes in, and every piece logged on a written inventory so it is all accounted for coming back out
- While it sits and while it travels, the shipment is covered to $1,000,000, released at the $0.60-per-pound standard, with full-value protection available
How we set the price
After a quick walkthrough or video estimate, we build a single flat rate off the inventory you actually own — no hourly clock anywhere in it. What that sheet reads is the full price, with nothing tacked on later.
