PT Van Lines

Vegas never stops turning over — people land, people leave, and the desert sun makes move day its own kind of test. PT Van Lines was built for exactly that: dawn loads to beat the 110° afternoon, one flat number locked before we touch a box, and the same Summerlin stucco-to-Henderson-cul-de-sac know-how on every job. The crew that loads in the Valley is the crew that unloads at the other end — ours, start to finish, and what the estimate says is what you settle.

One quick minute is all the form takes — then a binding flat-rate number, in writing, reaches you before the next business hour is out

Within one business hour, our reply lands in your inbox. Free estimate, no obligation. Anything you send stays inside our Las Vegas office — we never hand it off.

02 Why us

Whose name is on the truck is whose name is on your contract

Book PT Van Lines and the rig in your driveway is ours, the paperwork is ours, and the movers carrying your couch down the stairs are on our payroll — your job is never handed off. Brokers run it backwards: they sell the move to whoever bids lowest that week, then vanish.

PT Van Lines
  • Our own trucks, staffed by full-time background-checked movers — we never grab day labor off a corner
  • The number we put on paper is the number you settle — signed, locked, dollar for dollar
  • One crew from the first box loaded to the last box set down
  • Nevada (NTA) household-goods authority, USDOT/MC for interstate runs, and full insurance on every job
  • One Las Vegas office, one point of contact, from your first call through the last box
What a broker does
  • Auctions your move off to whichever outfit bids cheapest that week
  • Watches the quote balloon on move day with add-ons nobody warned you about
  • Sends strangers you have never spoken to up your stairs with everything you own
  • Keeps it vague about whose policy actually covers a dropped TV
  • Puts a call-center wall between you and whoever eventually rolls up to load
03 How we quote

One rate.
In writing.
No clock.

We count your actual inventory first, then commit a binding number to paper before the truck loads — no hourly clock running quietly in the corner. The figure on that sheet is the entire bill, full stop.

Locked, not metered

a walkthrough or video estimate fixes your rate — and that is where it stays

Nothing hidden

no desert fuel surcharge, no high-rise stair fee, no surprise “heavy item” line

Same crew, both addresses

the PT Van Lines movers who fill the truck are the ones who empty it at your new place

04 Keeping your move safe

Your things get handled like they are ours

Pads, shrink film, and floor runners ride on every truck — ready to wrap furniture, shield tile and laminate, and cushion the fragile stuff whether the job is a Summerlin two-story, a gated Green Valley home, or a Strip high-rise condo.

Quilted pads

Every dresser, table, and headboard is pad-wrapped right where it stands before anything heads for the door.

Stretch film

Drawers stay shut and upholstery stays clean — wrapped tight against desert dust and the heat in the trailer all the way to the door.

Floor & doorway guards

Runners, rail wraps, and jamb pads go down before a single box moves, so tile, railings, and trim end the day exactly as they started.

Built-to-fit crating

Mirrors, glass tabletops, framed art, flat screens — we build each one its own crate, sized corner to corner.

Break-down & rebuild

Bed frames, dining tables, sectionals — the big pieces come apart for the haul and we reassemble them once they are inside your new place.

Straps, dollies & gear

High-rise freight elevators, tight condo corridors, and the heaviest loads each get the proper tie-downs and equipment — we cut no corners on our truck.

05 How it works
1

Tell us the basics

Your two ZIPs, the move date, and how big the home is — one minute, no cost.

2

You get it in writing

We go through your real inventory and lock it into a single binding flat rate.

3

The crew shows at dawn

Uniformed, background-checked, and loaded with every tool the day needs — early, to beat the heat.

4

Wrapped, as promised

We load, we drive, we set every room back up — and the bill lands exactly where the quote did.

10 Good to know

What Las Vegas movers want to know

Are you a moving company?
Yes — PT Van Lines is a fully licensed and insured Las Vegas moving company running our own trucks and uniformed crews, with Nevada NTA and USDOT/MC authority. Despite the “Van Lines” name we are no agent network or broker: we own the fleet and the crews go on our payroll.
How is a move priced?
It starts with a quick walkthrough or video estimate; from your real inventory we build one flat rate and put it on paper — no meter ticking in the background. What that sheet reads is the whole price, with nothing tucked underneath.
How early should the move date be locked in?
In a relocation town like Vegas, weekends and month-ends go first, so giving us two to three weeks of lead time is the safe play. Midweek and mid-month slots open up longer, and any time a crew has room we will grab same-day and last-minute work too.
What sorts of moves are on your books?
Everything from local jobs around Las Vegas and across the Valley to long hauls out of Las Vegas down I-15 or beyond to any state in the country. The awkward pieces are ours too — pianos, gun safes, and antiques.
Are you a licensed, insured outfit?
Yes — PT Van Lines carries Nevada (NTA) household-goods authority, USDOT/MC for interstate work, and full cargo and liability coverage. Tower or HOA asking for a certificate of insurance? Tell us and a same-day COI is almost always on its way.
Does a Strip high-rise or apartment building throw you off?
All the time. Strip-corridor freight elevators, building COIs, dock windows, and stair carries are routine for our crews — tell us the tower and we will line up access well before move day.
Got a piano, safe, or another oddball piece to move?
Yes — uprights, baby grands, and full grands are everyday work, and the crew rolls up with the boards, straps, and stair rigging the piece calls for. Gun safes, antiques, and oversized art get the same careful treatment.
Can you handle the packing and bring the boxes too?
Absolutely — pick a full pack and we crate the whole house, or a partial and we cover just the rooms with breakables. The boxes, paper, and tape all arrive on our truck.
